Adoption Info

The cat adoption fee of $170 (or $300 for two cats) helps to offset veterinary costs. All fees are payable in cash only.
SNAP has an application and screening process for all potential adopters to ensure that their cats and dogs go to the right home. This screening process can include home visits both prior to and after the adoption, phone converstations and general follow up.  In addition to protecting the animals, this process ensures that you are matched with the perfect pet for your family.
SNAP requires that all cats and kittens adopted must remain indoor pets for their protection. If, for any reason, a pet is not suitable, SNAP will accept a returned pet to ensure that it does not end up as a stray or euthanized.

Adoption Information

The majority of SNAP animals are in foster care and a small number of cats also reside in the Spruce Grove Petsmart.
On various Saturdays additional cats from foster care, as well as kittens are brought to the Spruce Grove store for viewing. All SNAP animals are vet checked, vaccinated, de-wormed, tattooed, have their ears treated and are spayed or neutered before they are placed in their forever homes.

Adoption Days are held on various Saturdays from 12 pm to
5 pm at the Spruce Grove Petsmart
